Healing. Starts. Here.

Imagine a life where you are authentically you, where you navigate challenges from a place of self-assurance and presence. Picture yourself experiencing deep self-awareness, emotional clarity, and the freedom to live without pretense. It's within you—the courage to embrace your true self, to step into a life that resonates with who you genuinely are.

My philosophy
I see therapy as a collaborative and intentional process. When we work together, you’ll meet with one licensed counselor throughout your care. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in creating a steady, respectful space where you can speak openly and reflect honestly.

My role is to support you while also helping you stay accountable to what matters to you. The work we do is thoughtful, paced, and focused on meaningful change over time.
Can therapy work?
Research consistently shows that psychotherapy is effective for depression, anxiety, trauma, and related concerns. Therapy supports symptom reduction, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and long-term psychological stability.

Meet the therapist
Oliver Parkes, M.S, LCPC-c
As a licensed clinical professional counselor with a master’s degree in clinical counseling, I believe in the capacity of therapy to support meaningful, lasting well-being. My work is grounded in ethical practice and evidence-based approaches, including trauma-informed care and EMDR, with assessment used to guide individualized treatment. I provide a non-judgmental space where clients can thoughtfully explore complex experiences. Using a collaborative, “lead-from-behind” approach, I emphasize careful listening, direct feedback, and focused questions that help clients better understand their patterns and move toward change.
